The Regional Forum for Sustainable Development, organized by the Lombardy Region, aims to involve civil society in the different stages of the Regional Sustainable Development Strategy, from goal setting to implementation, and final monitoring. To foster dialogue and networking among sustainability actors, in the fall of 2022 Regione Lombardia organized the third edition of the Forum, which will take place from October 19 to 22, 2022 in Milan. During this edition, the many realities of the territory active on Agenda 2030 will evaluate together the steps to be taken in the coming years, dialoguing also with relevant institutions.

This year the Forum decided to do even more on the sustainability front by becoming “Climate Positive“! The organizers have embarked on a path of environmental responsibility to offset 110% CO2 emissions that the event will produce. The Festival will have several positive impacts on the regional territory through the protection of existing forests and the growth of new trees. You can directly adopt trees on the wownature.eu portal and support the initiative. The forestry projects chosen by the Festival are among the winners of BioClima, an initiative that implements an innovative, unique model of public-private collaboration to conserve biodiversity and combat the climate crisis in the Lombardy Region.
